| 6. Do you charge sales tax on orders? | Amavida is required to collect sales tax on non-food items in the state of Florida. The applicable state and local sales tax percentages will be added to your order. For our tax exempt customers, state law requires that we have your signed tax exception or resale certificate on file at our offices. |
| 7. What are the definitions of a Medium, Full City, and Dark roasts? | We use Medium, Full City, and Dark to provide broad definitions about the color and characteristics of our roasts. Our Medium roasts tend to be light-medium bodied coffees with bright, flavorful notes. Medium roasts have a neutral brown color and are free of oil on the surface. With our Full City roasts, the body and sweetness pick-up, yet still have brightness. Full city roasts are dark brown and may have a light, patchy sheen on the beans. Lastly, our Dark roasts tend to be heavier in body, characterized with bold, sweet or bittersweet flavors and an oily surface. |
