Organic Guatemalan coffee from Rio Azul Cooperative

Clean water is used to wash the Organic Guatemalan coffee from the Rio Azul Coffee Cooperative. This is a common practice in the Guatemalan Highlands to remove the mucilage from the coffee cherries after de-pulping. The coffee cherries are fermented in the waster for a period of 16 to 24 hours before placing them on the drying patios.
