For us at Amavida, carbon responsible coffee has been a topic of discussion for a long time. We’re thrilled to have finally achieved become 100% carbon responsible, and the right to say we’re Net Zero! This didn’t happen over night though. As a B Corp coffee company we have had our sights set on reducing our impact to the environment for years. And, for years we have taken steps to get here. It began in collaboration with Cooperative Coffees Impact Committee work and measuring our carbon footprint. Additionally, we are continually asking ourselves ‘how can we reduce our carbon footprint?’ Beyond knowing our emissions and taking action to reduce them, we have now invested in carbon offsets through reforestation projects in partnership with Taking Root.
