Seaside, Florida is home to the world’s first New Urbanist town on the Gulf Coast. This walkable community features stunning scenic views, beautiful sandy white beaches and a variety of shops and restaurants for all to enjoy. One staple in the Seaside community is Airstream Row, located in the town’s Central Square. Here resides an aesthetic arrangement of airstream restaurants serving anything from clean juices, to local barbecue and grilled cheese, to frosty snow cones.
The town of Seaside is unmatched at keeping a mix that is fresh, local, and sustainable! When looking to further expand their array of food options along Airstream Row, they reached out to Amavida with an invite to help curate a sweet addition and that is where the idea for Amanda Donuts first sparked! The idea coupled with encouragement and excitement from the local community inspired Amavida to turn this idea into reality.
A New Addition to the Amavida Family Has Rolled into Seaside
Amavida Donuts finalized their first menu in October (2022) after spending the majority of the year creating fun recipes and frying donuts with their sister company, Perla Baking Co. Soon after, they rolled into Seaside as the newest addition to Airstream Row!
Now, every Friday through Sunday you’ll spot the vintage Citroën-inspired yellow truck stationed right across from Amavida in Seaside. There you will find a selection of sweet treats and donut themed merchandise to celebrate what is sure to be your new favorite breakfast spot on 30A. Whether it be a classic “OG” glazed donut, a unique seasonal creation, or an organic cold brew coffee, Amavida Donuts has something to make your morning a little brighter!
All in all, Amavida Donuts serves a variety of craft layered and cake donuts that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. With vegan and gluten free options available, there is something for everyone to smile about. Amavida Donuts is dedicated to serving sweet treats with attention to detail and quality, so you can love life with every bite!

What’s Next for Amavida Donuts?
Although Amavida Donuts is currently open Friday to Sunday, they are gearing up for plans to open daily through spring and summer (2023). Expect new and unique variations of donut features for holidays, an ever-changing seasonal menu, and collaborations with other local businesses in the months to come!

Perla Baking Co. provides fresh baked artisan pastries to all of the Amavida cafes, in addition to a variety of unique and fresh donuts for the new Donut truck. From creation of recipes to the cutting, frying and artful decoration of donuts, Perla Baking Co. aims for the highest quality in everything they do! Located in Historic Defuniak Springs on Baldwin Avenue, Perla Baking Co. is in the center of the revitalization by Main Street America.
