A Limited Release Organic Peru Coffee

This exciting limited release by Crispin Huaman comes to us from the Incahuasi Cooperative in in the Cusco region of Southern Peru. Amavida has brought in a handful of limited releases from Incahuasi this season, each with unique flavor profiles we are excited to share with you. This single variety Yellow Caturra is balanced with notes of apple, cherry and tropical fruit in the cup. 

CACVI (Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Valle de Incahuasi) was founded in 2005, and currently has 520 farmer member. The organization has 13 committees, each with its own centralized processing plant where coffee is pulped, fermented, washed and dried. Processed coffee is stored in a central warehouse in the city of Andahaylas, where sampling and physical analysis takes place before export. These limited releases from Incahuasi Valley are some of the highest altitude coffees Amavida has carried, and Crispin Huaman’s Yellow Caturra grows at 2320 meters above sea level.
