Natural Coffee Beans from COMSA Cooperative

From the hills of Marcala, Honduras comes a vibrant and fruit-forward reserve coffee from Bryan Bautista. This limited lot, grown at 1,540 meters and composed of Catuai, Bourbon, and Pacamara varieties, showcases the beauty of natural processing. With striking aromas of raspberry, apricot and hibiscus, and a cup bursting with cherry, guava, and blackberry, this is a standout addition to our Reserve lineup.

Bryan Bautista’s farm is rooted in Marcala’s rich coffee tradition, a region celebrated for its altitude, soil, and climate—perfect conditions for slow-ripening cherries. With dedication to quality and care for his land, Bryan crafts coffees that express both terroir and innovation. This lot is processed naturally, meaning the whole coffee cherry is dried intact on raised beds before the seed is removed. The method creates a complex, fruit-forward profile, with a balanced body that lingers on the palate.

The Bottom Line:

This Organic Reserve  Series coffee is for those who appreciate coffees with bold fruit tones and floral complexity. Whether brewed as a filter or enjoyed as an espresso, it’s a lively cup that reflects the craft of Honduran coffee farming and Bryan Bautista’s passion for excellence.

We are proud to feature this exceptional lot in our Reserve collection—one to savor and share while it lasts.
